Harbour / Mooring Issues
The GBOA (in particular the Moorings Sub-Committee) have been working closely with Harbours over the last year to resolve many of the issues around Gorey Harbour with respect to maintainance and moorings. The GBOA would like to thank Harbours and TTS for their continuing efforts in these areas.
Recent audits and liasons with Harbour staff have identified 22 vacant moorings which Harbours are in the process of allocating.
Work has also started on the laying of new ground chains by the slipway with the aim of extending rows L, M & N which will result in new moorings as well as 6 new visitors moorings on the beach area.
Please note

Please note
- Only Harbours are responsible for allocating moorings in Gorey!
- All moorings should have both the boat name and the mooring number clearly marked. Your mooring number is on your invoice.
- If you notice any craft on incorrect moorings please report it to Jersey Harbours who will be introducing daily charges for any craft not on their allocated mooring.
- See below for the Conditions of use of a Harbour mooring.
Note - This is the latest available map and current ground chain works being carried out by TTS may alter the alignment of some moorings.
