Laying Up Supper

The Laying Up Supper was held recently at the Pomme D'Or Hotel with over 130 people attending, including guests from Rozel, Bonne Nuit, Bouley Bay, Carteret and PortBail Boat Owners associations, as well as a full crew from the Carteret Lifeboat, complete with their boat, which was on display on the Albert Pier the following day.Musical entertainment was provided by 'Run for Cover', and the raffle and auction raised just under £800 for the Jersey and Carteret Lifeboats, as well CI Air Search. The hotel's legendary seafood buffet was enjoyed by all, and it was agreed that we should repeat this format in future, as it made a spectacular end to the season.
